Scope of MAIA
The conference covers classical topics in approximation theory, such as
- Adaptive Spline Functions and PDEs
- Meshless Kernel-Based Methods for PDEs
- Multiexponential Analysis of Nonperiodic and Nonstationary Data
- Subdivision and Numerical Harmonic Analysis
- Approximation Theory and Deep Learning
The participation to this event is by invitation only with 50 participants.
Date and Location
This event will be held, on 26-30 September 2022, at the Reinhardswald Schule, Hessische Lehrkräfteakademie
in the Rothwestener Straße 2-14, 34233 Fuldatal.
It is located in the middle of nature at the edge of the Reinhardswald very close to the city Kassel and the world cultural heritage
Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe with its landmark, the Hercules.
The Reinhardswaldschule has a large terraced park area with old trees. Some buildings are of historical origin.

By car:
Please use the address Wahnhäuser Straße 7, 34233 Fuldatal for the
navigation system.
By train/bus:
Having reached the train station Kassel Wilhelmshöhe by train (see https://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/)
take the tram (Straßenbahn (STR) 3, Stop: Ihringshäuser Straße, 28 min) and
then Bus 40 (direction Simmershausen, Stop: Auf den Retteln, Fuldatal,
6min), and then go to Wahnhäuser Straße 7, 34233 Fuldatal (about 1000
meters),
or take from Ihringhäuser Straße the Bus 42 (direction Hann. Münden, Stop:
Simmershausen Schocketal, Fuldatal, 11 min) and then go to Wahnhäuser Straße
7, 34233 Fuldatal (about 600 meters).
By plain:
Use the airport Frankfurt International.
There is a train station Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof directly at the
airport.
Take an ICE train to Kassel Wilhelmshöhe and follow then the instructions
above.
